Please know, this carving has been coated by the stone cutter with a stone varnish. This varnish is visible in some spots, and may have a "rough" texture. If you look closely, you can see that one eye is blank inside, and does not have the "iris" carved in. (I think this gives this little cat character, and it appears as if it's winking)! This cat is self-standing, however, it may be wobbly on a flat surface.
