  • The crystals offered by Wilderness Crystals are sourced from around the world. Most are imported directly by me from the countries where they were mined, carved, or polished, while others come through trusted suppliers based outside those countries. I continue to do the research to ensure I’m sourcing from responsible suppliers, businesses, and mines. These suppliers prioritize ethical practices such as working with registered workers, maintaining safe working conditions, and caring for the environment through actions like replanting trees. I use the term consciously sourced because I research thoroughly, ask questions, and intentionally work with suppliers who align with my values. However, I don’t use the term ethically sourced lightly—because I haven’t witnessed every step of the crystal's journey firsthand. While I strive to ensure the crystals I offer are sourced as responsibly and fairly as possible, I believe in being transparent about the limits of what I can personally verify at this time.

  • Yes, I am able to make custom jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets and rings, in the styles that are available on the website, if I have the supplies in stock to do so. Please send a message through the Contact form with your inquiry.

  • Crystals can be pricey—especially when they’re consciously sourced. From the moment they’re mined, each crystal passes through many hands: miners, stone cutters, suppliers, shippers, Wilderness Crystals and then finally, to you. At every stage, skilled individuals are involved in the process: mining, cutting, polishing, sorting, grading, etc. Each of these people deserves fair compensation for their time, effort, and expertise. Supporting ethical practices means ensuring that everyone in the supply chain is treated with respect and paid fairly. While this adds to the cost, it also adds value—knowing that your crystal was brought to you with care, integrity, and social responsibility.

  • Gold filled is a manufacturing process where 2 sheets of solid gold are bonded over a brass core. A true gold filled piece of jewelry is at least 5% solid gold in weight, and the surface layer is 100x thicker than gold plated jewelry. Therefore, gold filled jewelry will always last longer than gold plated jewelry.
